About remove-ai-style

Reviews and adjusts the writing style of an article to reduce obvious AI-generated patterns, making text read more naturally and human-like. It supports both Chinese and English and is intended for requests to remove AI style, make AI-generated text sound more natural, or polish writing to reduce robotic or formulaic patterns. The work is style-focused while preserving the original meaning and tone.

Three intensity levels control how aggressively patterns are removed. Moderate fixes only the most obvious AI patterns with a light touch, preserving most of the original structure and phrasing. Heavy — the default when the user does not specify — actively rewrites AI-ish sentences, restructures overly formulaic paragraphs, and replaces robotic transitions. Full treats the entire text as a draft and rewrites it from scratch in a natural human voice while preserving the original meaning and key information, so the output reads as if a human wrote it from the start.

The instructions proceed by first determining the article's language (Chinese or English) and the intensity level, then loading the corresponding reference document — references/chinese.md or references/english.md. Quick-scan scripts from the reference are run to locate symbol-level issues first, giving a fast overview before reading line by line; for Chinese articles, ASCII double quotes and Chinese double quotes are handled with equal priority rather than fixing only ASCII quotes. The article is then reviewed against the style guidelines, since script results are only a starting point and a full read is still needed for patterns scripts cannot detect, such as overuse of metaphors, formulaic structure, and robotic transitions. Fixes are applied according to the chosen intensity, and the original meaning and tone are preserved even at full intensity.

FAQ

Which languages does this skill support?

It supports Chinese and English. The first step is to determine the article's language and load the matching reference document (references/chinese.md or references/english.md).

What are the intensity levels and which is the default?

Moderate fixes only the most obvious patterns, Heavy actively rewrites AI-ish sentences and formulaic paragraphs, and Full rewrites the text from scratch in a human voice. Heavy is the default when the user does not specify a level.

Does it preserve the original meaning?

Yes. The original meaning and tone are preserved at every level, and even at full intensity the core message should remain intact.

How does it find problem spots?

It runs quick-scan scripts from the reference document to locate symbol-level issues first, then reads the full text for patterns scripts cannot detect, such as overuse of metaphors, formulaic structure, and robotic transitions.

How does it handle quotation marks in Chinese articles?

For Chinese articles it scans and handles ASCII double quotes and Chinese double quotes with equal priority, rather than only fixing the ASCII quotes.
