earn-hunter

earn-hunter is an OKX agent skill that automatically monitors OKX Flash Earn, Fixed Earn (fixed-term), and Flexible Earn (Simple Earn) opportunities, sends push notifications when qualifying opportunities appear, and guides the user through subscription. It solves the problem of watching yield opportunities continuously without manual polling: it scans the OKX earn products via the official okx CLI, applies APY thresholds and term filters, deduplicates already-notified offers using a hierarchical state file, and pushes alerts through configured channels. The recurring scan is performed entirely by a bundled shell-plus-jq script (scripts/scan.sh) triggered by the OS crontab (or an isolated cron agent turn on OpenClaw), which is designed to exit silently with no output when there are no new opportunities.

The skill performs an activation preflight: verifying the okx CLI (installing it globally via npm if missing), detecting the auth mode (API-key vs OAuth) through the official CLI, optionally installing dependent skills for purchase and auth recovery, initializing config/state under ~/.okx/earn-hunter/, and writing an env snapshot of resolved tool paths so the cron job can run under a minimal PATH. It detects the runtime platform (OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude Code, or generic), the scheduler, and the notification channel as three independent dimensions, and ships reference docs and message templates for each earn type.
