This skill queries the Korean Financial Services Commission's corporate basic-information service (data.go.kr dataset 15043184, `getCorpOutline_V2`) through the hosted or self-hosted `k-skill-proxy`, returning a legal entity's outline: representative, establishment date, industry, and related upstream fields. It solves the narrow problem of confirming a Korean corporation's public profile by company name, and optionally cross-checking a supplied business registration number against the response when the upstream `bzno` field is present.

The published entry is a thin CLI stub: the real, always-current instructions are fetched by running `npx -y @nomadamas/k-skill@0 instruct fsc-corporate-info`, which detects the runtime and prints the applicable guidance. The bundled Python helper (`scripts/fsc_corporate_info.py`) is executed via the CLI's `exec` command with `--name` (required corporate name) and an optional `--b-no` for cross-verification. The API only accepts a corporate registration number (`crno`) or corporate name (`corpNm`) as search parameters, so lookup by business number alone is not possible. The skill deliberately reports only upstream facts and sources, avoiding any invented scores, grades, or interpretive labels.

It targets due-diligence, business-research, and compliance users working with Korean corporate data who need an authoritative, read-only company overview. End users need no secrets of their own; the `DATA_GO_KR_API_KEY` lives only on the proxy server, and the skill's hard rules forbid printing or storing plaintext credentials and forbid bypassing legal or identity boundaries.
