About court-auction-notice-search

Court Auction Notice Search turns South Korea's official real-estate auction portal, courtauction.go.kr (the Supreme Court's 법원경매정보), into agent-consumable JSON. Because the site exposes no official open API, the skill calls its internal WebSquare JSON XHR endpoints directly, normalizing sale notices and case records into structured, English-keyed fields. It is strictly read-only and reference-oriented: users are repeatedly reminded to re-confirm the original court notice before bidding, since prices, sale dates, and locations reflect the publication moment and can change through correction, withdrawal, or postponement.

Three workflows cover the main tasks. Workflow A retrieves sale notices for a given date and, optionally, court and bid type, then expands a selected notice into its constituent items with case number, usage type, address, appraised price, and minimum sale price. Workflow B looks up a single case directly by court office code plus case number (for example 2024타경100001), returning case info, items, schedule, claim deadline, related cases, and stakeholders. Workflow C runs a free-form property search by region, usage category, price range, appraised-value range, sale date, failed-bid count, and area, mapping raw upstream columns to normalized fields.

A defining concern is the site's aggressive IP-level bot blocking; roughly 16 calls in 30 seconds can trigger a one-hour ban. To stay conservative, the client enforces a minimum two-second jitter between calls, a default per-session budget of about 10 calls, and immediately throws a BLOCKED error when the response indicates ipcheck is false, never auto-retrying. Transport is direct HTTP first; only the free-search workflow, which the site's WAF guards more strictly, falls back to Playwright (rebrowser-playwright or playwright-core) when it hits a WAF-style HTTP 400, and explicit blocks are honored unless the user opts in. Helper functions expose court office codes, usage codes (토지, 건물, 차량 및 운송장비, 기타), and region codes, with fail-open behavior for unknown values. The v1 scope excludes movable-property auctions, photo and PDF document downloads, and any bid submission, which must always be done in person at the court.

FAQ

Can this skill place a bid for me?

No. It is strictly read-only, intended as a reference tool. Bidding itself is never automated and must be done in person at the court.

How does it avoid getting the IP blocked?

It enforces a minimum two-second jitter between calls, a default per-session budget of about 10 calls, and stops immediately with a BLOCKED error when the site signals ipcheck is false. A blocked IP recovers naturally after roughly one hour.

What can I search for?

Sale notices by date, court, and bid type; a single case by court office code plus case number; and a free-form property search by region, usage, price, appraised value, sale date, failed-bid count, and area.

What is the difference between the date and period bid types?

The bidType input is either date (기일입찰, code 000331) or period (기간입찰, code 000332). Leaving it blank returns both.

Is the price and schedule data authoritative?

No. Values reflect the notice publication moment and can change through correction, withdrawal, or postponement, so the original court notice must be reconfirmed before bidding; correctionCount and cancellationCount fields flag such changes.
