About catchtable-sniper
A reservation-sniping assistant for Catchtable, the Korean restaurant-booking platform, that watches for open or cancellation slots and attempts to book them automatically. It drives a Chrome browser through Chrome MCP and reuses an existing logged-in Catchtable session, so no API key, package install, or credential handling is involved. If the browser is not logged in, the skill stops and asks the user to sign in with Kakao or Naver first, since it never automates login.
Several booking modes are supported. Cancellation-sniping polls a restaurant at a configurable interval (a minimum of thirty seconds, to avoid server load) and books the moment a slot appears. Open-run mode waits for a scheduled reservation-open time and fires at that exact moment, falling back to cancellation-sniping if the slot is already gone. Multi-target mode cycles through up to five named restaurants and grabs whichever opens first, then stops watching the rest. Flexible party-size matching offers an alternative headcount when the requested size is unavailable and asks the user to confirm. Dry-run mode is notify-only, reporting a found slot and leaving the actual booking to the user.
Input parsing extracts restaurant names or URLs, date, party size, an optional time window, mode, flexibility, open time, and polling interval from natural-language requests. The execution flow covers browser prep and login check, mode branching, slot detection, form auto-fill (headcount, visit purpose, agreement checkboxes, and saved reservation info), and a completion screen with the reservation number. Some steps are intentionally left to the human, including login and payment-info entry for prepaid restaurants, where the skill stops and asks before any payment. Default limits are a two-hour watch window and five simultaneous targets.
FAQ
What are the technical requirements?
A Chrome MCP connection and a Chrome session already logged in to Catchtable (app.catchtable.co.kr). No API key or package install is needed.
Does it log in for me?
No. Kakao or Naver login must be done manually in Chrome. The skill reuses the existing session, never receives credentials, and stops if the browser is not logged in.
Can it watch several restaurants at once?
Yes. Multi-target mode cycles through up to five restaurants and books the first slot to open, then immediately stops watching the others.
What does dry-run mode do?
It is notify-only. When a slot is found it reports the details and asks whether to book, leaving the reservation decision to the user rather than booking automatically.
How does it handle prepaid restaurants?
It does not auto-fill payment information. For prepaid venues it reports the amount and asks the user to confirm before any payment step proceeds.
