About biz-health-check
biz-health-check is a Korean-language business due-diligence skill that takes a single business registration number (사업자등록번호), optionally with a company name and region, and cross-checks six free Korean public-data sources into one factual report. It answers the practical question "is this business actually sound?" by pulling National Tax Service registration status (active/suspended/closed), National Pension enrolled-workplace data (headcount and monthly dues), the tax-delinquency public list, Financial Services Commission corporate profile, Public Procurement Service sanctioned-supplier records, and local-government business-license operating status. By design it produces no score, grade, or "risk" judgment — it lays out only facts, sources, and query timestamps, leaving interpretation to the user.
The catalogue entry itself is a thin CLI stub: the real instructions are fetched at runtime via `npx -y @nomadamas/k-skill@0 instruct biz-health-check`, which detects the runtime and prints current instructions, with helper files listed by a companion command. It reuses the repo's six single-purpose skills as the single source of truth, degrading gracefully — if one section fails or its helper is missing, only that section is marked unavailable while the rest proceed. Some sections run directly without authentication (delinquency, licenses); others go through a hosted or self-hosted `k-skill-proxy` that holds the operator's DATA_GO_KR_API_KEY, so the end user needs no secrets.
It targets Korean users vetting a counterparty, client, or vendor. Notably, its hard rules are security-conscious: never execute payment/submission/posting without explicit approval, never ask for or store plaintext credentials, and never bypass CAPTCHA, identity-proofing, or e-signature boundaries.
FAQ
What data does it check?
Six free Korean public sources: NTS business-registration status, National Pension workplace enrollment, the tax-delinquency public list, FSC corporate profile, Public Procurement sanctioned-supplier records, and local-government business-license operating status.
Does it give a risk score or grade?
No. By design it produces no score, grade, or risk label — only the facts, their sources, and the query timestamps, so the user makes the judgment.
What do I need to run it?
An internet connection, python3, Node.js 18+ for npx, and the repo's six single-purpose skills it reuses. Proxy-backed sections need access to a hosted or self-hosted k-skill-proxy; the user supplies no API keys.
What if one data source is unavailable?
It degrades that section only, marking it unavailable with a note, and continues with the remaining sections instead of failing the whole report.
What inputs are required?
A 10-digit business registration number (hyphens allowed); a company name (--name) is needed for pension/FSC/delinquency sections, and a region (--region) for local business-license lookups.
