About deck-guizang-editorial

This skill is a presentation deck template that turns a user's content into an editorial-magazine-meets-e-ink slide deck, rendered as a single-file HTML page. It solves the problem of quickly producing a visually distinctive, print-feeling narrative deck without design work, by encoding a fixed visual signature: five strict color palettes (Ink/Monocle, Indigo Porcelain, Forest Ink, Kraft Paper, and Dune) whose exact hex values must not be changed or mixed, and a pool of ten reusable layouts.

The ten layouts range from a hero cover and act divider to a big-numbers grid, quote-plus-image, image grids, a pipeline/flow with keyboard step-through, a full-screen hero question, a big serif quote, a before/after split, and a mixed-media layout. The number of slides is driven by the user's content, with short content starting at 6-12 slides and layouts reusable across sections. Strict design rules forbid gradients, drop shadows, rounded corners, blur, SVG icon libraries, and emoji decoration, and prescribe specific serif display fonts (Playfair Display / Noto Serif SC) and sans body fonts (Inter / Noto Sans SC), magazine details like kickers and folios, keyboard arrow navigation with hash sync, and inline CSS/SVG illustration instead of placeholder images. It explicitly bans fabricated data, lorem ipsum, and placeholder image URLs, requiring real content.

It targets people creating narrative, opinion, or personal-style presentations who want a polished editorial aesthetic, particularly for marketing scenarios. Inspired by the op7418/guizang-ppt-skill Style A and part of the Open Design collection, it is a purely presentational HTML/CSS templating skill with a bilingual (Chinese/English) specification and no executable or data-handling behavior.

FAQ

What does this template produce?

A single-file HTML editorial-style slide deck in a 16:9 horizontal format, with keyboard left/right navigation and hash synchronization, styled after an editorial magazine crossed with an e-ink print look.

Can I change the colors or layouts?

You pick exactly one of five palettes and must not alter the hex values or mix palettes. There are ten predefined, reusable layouts; the number of slides is determined by your content, starting at roughly 6-12 for short content.

What design elements are prohibited?

Gradients, drop shadows, rounded corners, circular decorations, blur, SVG icon libraries, and emoji decoration are forbidden, as are fabricated data, lorem ipsum, and placeholder image URLs. Images should be drawn with inline CSS/SVG.

Which fonts does it use?

Display type uses Playfair Display (Latin) or Noto Serif SC (Chinese), and body text uses Inter or Noto Sans SC, with occasional italic serif for numbers and figures.
