xiaohongshu-cover-generator creates Xiaohongshu (小红书) style cover images from a user-provided topic. It solves the problem of quickly producing polished, platform-native social-media covers by wrapping an image-generation script that returns a ready-to-post PNG, triggered when a user asks for a Xiaohongshu cover or mentions keywords such as "小红书封面", "Xiaohongshu cover", or "封面生成".

The skill runs a bundled TypeScript script at `scripts/handler.ts` using `npx tsx`, taking the topic as the primary argument and an API key either from the `CANGHE_API_KEY` environment variable or passed directly. It requires a valid API key from api.canghe.ai and, if the key is missing or invalid, gives the user clear instructions to obtain one. Generated images follow a consistent set of style specifications: a 3:4 vertical, mobile-friendly aspect ratio; a clean, refined, youthful aesthetic; automatic removal of watermarks and logos; high-quality output suited to mobile viewing; and clear, appropriately sized, readable text. The resulting file is saved to the directory where the skill was invoked — the current working directory, not the skill's own folder — using the filename pattern `xiaohongshu-cover-{timestamp}.png`, where the timestamp is in milliseconds.

The skill targets content creators, social-media managers, and marketers who publish on Xiaohongshu and want on-style cover art without manual design work. It is most useful when the topic is confirmed up front and a Canghe API key is available, after which a single command produces a cover image ready for review and posting.
