The registry skill (Frames Registry) is a pay-per-call API gateway for AI agents, exposing ten services through the x402 payment protocol with no API keys or subscriptions, so an agent simply pays per request in crypto. Services include a Twitter API, AI generation, semantic web search via Exa, OpenRouter text generation, Solana swaps via Jupiter, CoinGecko crypto data, AgentMail email infrastructure, and more.

It requires a crypto wallet funded with USDC, recommending AgentWallet (a server-side wallet that handles 402 detection, payment signing, and retries through a single fetch call) or a self-managed EVM (Base) or Solana wallet for signing x402 headers directly. Its quick start covers setting up a wallet, discovering services, reading each service's agent-friendly skill docs, checking pricing, and making a paid request. Each service exposes standard endpoints (info, health, interactive docs, OpenAPI spec, and skill docs), with per-endpoint pricing typically ranging from a fraction of a cent to a couple of cents.

It is most useful for AI agents that need on-demand access to many third-party APIs without managing individual keys or subscriptions, paying only for what they call.
