About pipeline-review
A weekly sales-pipeline analysis assistant that scores pipeline health, prioritizes deals, flags risks, and produces a concrete action plan. It suits running a weekly review, deciding where to spend selling time, surfacing stale or stuck opportunities, auditing hygiene issues like bad close dates, and identifying single-threaded deals. An optional argument scopes the review to a particular segment or rep.
It is designed to work with or without connected tooling. In standalone mode it accepts a CSV exported from a CRM, a pasted list of deals, or a plain-language description of the pipeline, and from any of these produces a health check, prioritization, hygiene audit, and weekly action plan. Helpful CSV fields include deal and account name, amount, stage, close date, created date, last activity date, owner, and primary contact. When a CRM, activity data, or calendar is connected, it becomes more capable - pulling the pipeline automatically, updating records with new close dates, stages, and next steps, scoring engagement, predicting risk from historical patterns, and creating follow-up tasks.
The output is a structured report: an overall health score out of 100 broken down across stage progression, activity recency, close-date accuracy, and contact coverage; a short list of priority actions with reasons and dollar impact; a prioritization matrix sorting deals into close-this-week, close-this-month, and nurture buckets; and risk-flag tables for stale deals with no activity in 14+ days, stuck deals in the same stage 30+ days, past-due close dates, and single-threaded deals. Additional sections cover hygiene gaps, pipeline shape by stage, month, and size, and candidates worth removing. Ranking follows a weighted framework - close date 30%, deal size 25%, stage 20%, activity 15%, risk 10% - which can be reweighted on request, for example to favor big deals or quick wins.
FAQ
Do I need a connected CRM to use it?
No. It works standalone from a CSV export, pasted deals, or a plain description of the pipeline; connecting a CRM, activity data, or calendar supercharges it with automatic pulls and record updates.
What CSV fields are most useful?
Deal or opportunity name, account name, amount, stage, close date, created date, last activity date, owner (for team reviews), and primary contact.
How does it decide which deals to prioritize?
It uses a weighted framework: close date 30%, deal size 25%, stage 20%, activity 15%, and risk 10%, and you can ask it to reweight, such as favoring big deals or quick wins.
What risks does it flag?
Stale deals with no activity for 14+ days, stuck deals in the same stage for 30+ days, deals with close dates in the past, and single-threaded deals with only one contact.
Can it update my CRM records?
When a CRM is connected it can pull the pipeline automatically, update records with new close dates, stages, and next steps, and create follow-up tasks.
