About day1-onboarding

The day1-onboarding skill runs the AI Native Camp Day 1 onboarding, teaching Claude Code by having the user learn interactively in conversation with Claude. It is written in Korean and triggers on requests for Day 1 or onboarding.

Its defining feature is a strict STOP PROTOCOL in which each lesson block runs across two turns. In Phase A the agent reads and explains the block's content and tells the user to try it, then stops without quizzing or asking questions; in Phase B, after the user returns, it reads the quiz section, asks the quiz via AskUserQuestion, gives feedback, and asks whether to continue. It always prints the official documentation URLs at the start of Phase A, organizes content into blocks (setup, experience, why the CLI, seven features, and basics) backed by reference files with explain, execute, and quiz sections, and routes Claude Code questions to the built-in claude-code-guide agent.

It is most useful as a guided, paced first-day curriculum for learning Claude Code, designed so learners explain, practice, and then verify understanding one block at a time.

FAQ

What is this skill for?

Running AI Native Camp's Day 1 onboarding, teaching Claude Code interactively through conversation with Claude.

What is the STOP PROTOCOL?

A rule that each block runs over two turns: Phase A explains and prompts hands-on practice then stops, and Phase B (after the user returns) gives the quiz and feedback and asks whether to continue.

What topics does it cover?

Blocks for setup, an experience demo, why use the CLI and terminal, an introduction to seven features, and CLI, git, and GitHub basics.

How does it handle Claude Code questions?

It routes them to the built-in claude-code-guide agent and, if needed, fetches official docs via curl and reads them rather than relying on summaries.

Why does it print documentation URLs?

So participants can click through to the official Claude Code documentation themselves; the protocol requires showing these URLs at the start of each block.
